Allen and Bocking have been serving the people of Norwich and Norfolk for 50 years.

The company started trading in 1960 repairing vacuum cleaners. Over the years we added the following services:

•  Repairing washing machines, dryers, cookers, microwaves. We are also the authorised repair agent for major groups such as Beko and Electrolux.
• Selling and installing appliances through our store in Stalham and over the phone at our Norwich premises.
• Repairing and servicing central heating systems
• Carrying out all manner of plumbing works from kitchen taps to full bathroom makeovers     
• Cleaning ovens and cooking appliances. Our unique point is that all our cleaning materials are non toxic and non caustic 

In 2003 we acquired Stalham Radio an electrical retail store that came with membership of the Europe wide buying group, Euronics. This allows us to compete pricewise with the major electrical groups. Unlike these groups we offer a full installation and removal service by trained engineers.

In 2004 at the request of our customers we moved into oven cleaning. Once more due to the requests of our customers we are now expanding our cleaning services into general house cleaning and car valeting. Very shortly we will also be offering ‘painting and decorating’ to our customers.

Finally, as we move into our second half-century we will be looking to continually adapt to the needs of you, our customer.
